"After years of frustration with rising rates and lackluster customer service, we decided to shop for new insurance (auto, home, umbrella). We got quotes from several different carriers, but none offered enough savings to justify a move. After weeks of comparing alternatives, we decided that maybe our problem was with our current agent and not with State Farm. We researched area agents, and decided to meet with Katie to review coverage and see if there was anything we could do. Wow, we should have done this years ago! Less than five minutes into our meeting it was clear that we had made the right decision. Katie was very engaging, asking a ton of questions to get to know us. She wasn't selling us anything, rather she was truly trying to understand our needs. Most importantly, she was talking with both of us, making sure we were both actively engaged in the conversation. Katie then pivoted naturally and seamlessly into reviewing our current coverage, stepping through each of our policies and presenting us with a variety of options to consider. About an hour later we left Katie's office, incredibly pleased with our decision to change agents. We were able to squeeze a little savings out of our renewal premiums, but more importantly we felt confident with our coverage and extremely comfortable with Katie working on our behalf. Katie then followed up almost immediately with a series of emails confirming what we had discussed, presenting us with additional options, and working through the mechanics of making the necessary changes to our policies. Katie is incredibly good at what she does, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to join the Halpin agency. Our only regret is that we didn't make the move earlier and that Google limits our rating to five stars. Thank you, Katie for all of your help!"
